More Funding for our Classrooms
"Our schools should put students first and ensure every tax dollar is spent wisely."
I will work to:
-
Prioritize smaller class sizes so students receive more individual attention.
-
Expand support and resources for special education and students with diverse learning needs.
-
Promote development of new schools in rapidly growing communities.
-
Expand air conditioning and improve aging school infrastructure.
-
Maintain a balanced budget, reduce unnecessary spending on consultants and bureaucracy.
-
Expand financial audits and improve transparency.
-
Ensure more tax dollars are directed into classrooms instead of administration.
-
Strong communication with parents to ensure their voices are heard and reflected.

Faith & Catholic Education
"Keeping faith at the heart of our schools."
I will support:
-
Protecting and strengthening the Catholic identity that makes our schools unique.
-
Promoting Catholic values of faith, compassion, respect, integrity, and service.
-
Helping students develop academically, spiritually, and morally to prepare them for a lifetime of leadership.

Safer Schools For ALL
"Students and educators deserve safe, respectful learning environments that are free from violence, disruption, and distraction."
I will work to:
-
Restore educational presentations from YRP School Resource Officers that promote safety, and positive community relationships.
-
Oppose the construction of drug injection sites near schools.
-
Keep drugs, violence, and criminal activity away from schools.
-
Support student mental health while maintaining safe, orderly classrooms where learning comes first.

Parents, Partnership & Unity
"Strong schools are built through partnership & unity."
I believe:
-
Parents, students and educators should work together to support student success.
-
Schools should encourage open communication and transparency.
-
The Board should respect parental involvement in decisions.
-
Schools should focus on education, not unnecessary politics.
-
Classroom discussions should remain age appropriate and focused on student learning.
-
Every student should be treated with dignity and respect, and discrimination, hate, and violence should never be tolerated.
-
Keeping the Canadian flag proudly displayed in our schools.
-
Continuing the singing of Canada’s national anthem.
